Every office says it is licensed. Ours tells you where to check.
Oscar Recruitment Office has placed domestic workers with families in Aqaba and southern Jordan since 2001. We work with licensed sending agencies in Ethiopia, Uganda, Ghana, Burundi and Bangladesh, and we are open to new partners.
Check us out. We would do the same.
You are being asked to send people to a country you may never have visited, to an office you have never met. Three things about us can be checked without asking us anything.
We are in the national register
The Jordanian Recruitment Agencies Syndicate publishes every licensed office. Search the register for our name and membership number.

Open the syndicate registerWe have a real office you can see
Not a phone number and a logo. A street address in Aqaba, on the map, with photos, opening hours and reviews from the families we placed workers with.
Aqaba, Jordan
See the office on Google MapsWe are licensed by a named authority
The Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority licenses this office, and that licence is what limits us to Aqaba and the areas around it. We do not claim to cover the whole country.
ASEZA
Your responsibility ends at departure. Ours begins there.
So you know exactly where the line falls, here is the whole sequence on our side of it.
The employer is chosen and the contract is signed
We meet the family, read the standard two-year contract with them clause by clause, and keep a signed copy on file before anyone books a ticket.
We meet her at the airport, with an interpreter
She is not handed over at a terminal to a stranger. We are there, we speak with her in a language she understands, and she has our number from day one.
Medical, work permit, residency
We arrange the medical examination and file the work permit and residency in her name, then track every expiry date so the file never lapses into penalties.
One office, still answering
Renewals, questions, problems. The same people who answered before departure answer a year later — and if something goes wrong, you hear it from us early rather than late.
She keeps her own passport. Always.
We do not hold a worker’s documents, we do not allow employers to, and we tell them so in writing before they sign. If you take one thing from this page, take that one.
What else is written into every contract
- Salary paid on time, on the terms in the contract.
- A real weekly rest day — not deferred, not traded away.
- Decent accommodation and food.
- A return ticket at the end of the contract.
- A three-month trial period. If the placement is not a good fit, we work with the family to find a more suitable arrangement rather than leaving her in a household that is not working.
If a problem is reported to us, we act on it. We would rather tell you early than let it grow.
What we ask from you
Nothing unusual. Saying it plainly saves us both weeks of correspondence.
We will consider countries beyond the ones we work with today, wherever the legal route into Jordan is open.
- A licence we can verify
- Valid registration with the labour authority in your country, and the details we can check it against.
- Complete documents before departure
- Passport, medical, and any clearance your country requires — finished before the flight, not chased after landing.
- Honest profiles
- Age, real experience, languages and skills as they actually are. An inflated profile fails in the first week and costs us both.
- Pre-departure orientation
- She should know where she is going, what the contract says, and what the weather and the household will be like.
- A line that stays open
- Someone we can reach after arrival, not only before it.
